As a VP, you will develop long-term relationships with your customers, connecting with key business executives and IT stakeholders, developing an understanding of their business requirements and goals, and how they are using our products.
What you will do:
- Lead the team that closely engages with our customers to define the use cases providing an end-to-end experience that address their most challenging needs
- Create a culture of seamless collaboration between the Digital Energy business lines and the rest of the KDI organization.
- Build and develop one or several “hero use cases” that scale and we are able to deliver upon that supports the Digital Twin strategy and goals.
- Gather the best customer insights and problems to solve together with UX designers, engineers, marketers, and more
- You will also have the role of translator and coordinator between the customers and KDIs Customer Success and Product Management teams and advise on development priorities.
- Represent KDI at relevant external industry conferences, events, and forums.
- Set requirements in line with customer needs and business objectives. Always assess the business value.
You have:
- 10+ years of direct IT/OT experience enterprise software/ software-as-a-service (Business Intelligence/ Data Warehouse/ Big Data/ Advanced Analytics/ Machine Learning)
- The ability to explain the respective value chains for the energy industry - including the key economic drivers; the business, people, and technical inter-dependencies; the digitalization opportunity with Industry 4.0
- Well-versed in key use cases, such as optimization, production visibility, higher operator productivity, quality improvement, predictive maintenance, and higher machine utilization
- Experience with Operational Technology equipment and related software, such as Honeywell Connected Plant, Emerson Plantweb/AMS, GE/Meridum APM, Aveva, Bentley, and OSIsoft PI
- Detail oriented, strong relationship-building skills and a focus on a high level of customer service
- Familiarity with relevant technology, such as Big Data (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, BigQuery); Data Warehouses; Business Intelligence; and Machine Learning
- Start-up experience (Series A, B, or C)
- Bachelor's degree
Good communication skills, orally and written, in both Norwegian and English is a prerequisite.
