Kongsberg Digital is a provider of next-generation software and digital solutions to customers within the Maritime, Oil & Energy and Utilities industries. We are on a mission to digitalize these industries, and to support our growth, we are now looking for a VP Applications to join our Digital Ocean division.

KONGSBERG's Digital Ocean integrates the entire journey that data takes from the seabed to the office, resulting in a single ecosystem for more efficient, lower cost and improved operational performance. In the Applications team, the goal is to create software solutions by integrating application services in order to create solutions that solves real challenges faced by our customers. 

Are you ready for a challenge beyond your current scope?

As our VP Applications you will hold a central position in one of our key divisions within maritime digitalization. You will be responsible for developing and communicating product vision and product roadmap for the Application portfolio. This also involves responsibilities within market messaging, positioning and keeping close contact with end-customers related to the product portfolio. As a VP you will also have the responsibility of building and operating an effective Product Management and Product Owner team.

The role reports to SVP Applications – Digital Ocean.

As a manager, you know how to provide a clear direction in addition to being a source of motivation and inspiration. You are a team player who see the value in sharing knowledge, experience and information with colleagues, in addition to being supportive in the pursuit of team goals. Furthermore, you have a methodical and systematic approach, and manage to plan ahead, define clear priorities and allocate resources effectively.

Good communication skills, orally and written, in both Norwegian and English is a prerequisite.
