The Role… This vacancy is within the DFDS team based out of Immingham. We work on behalf of numerous businesses with close links to other DFDS sites and contracts based through the UK. Be part of a high performing team who deliver great service to our customers in the most cost-effective solution possible as well as maximising the usage of all units. The hours of this roll will be on a rotating basis form 06.00 – 15.00 and 09.00 – Finish.

Key Responsibilities…

• Support other team members in problem solving, carrying out root cause analysis and driving improvements.
• Continually deliver towards KPI targets and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
• Develop an understanding of DFDS IT systems such as Velocity.
• Communicate directly with our customers, listening to their needs and giving them great customer service.
• Be reactive to the needs of the business, flexing what the priorities are on any given day.
• Create a cost-effective plan that meets the needs of our business and our customers.
• On-call duties on a rota basis
• Effectively managing the day to day equipment for all trucks and drivers
• Day to day communication with drivers

 

Key Skills…

• Determined, competitive and can-do positive attitude
• Good IT skills covering Microsoft packages.
• Strong Knowledge on Drivers compliance
• Able to abide by all H&S regulations
• CPC (Desirable)
