Areas of responsibility:

• Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency
• Ensure efficient flow of ESM materials to warehouses and customers
• Optimize costs for warehousing and shipping operations
• Contribute to continuous improvements in our working processes

Qualifications required for the position:

• Working experience in logistics
• Good understanding of Incoterms, cargo insurance, modes of transport
• Proficient in standard logistics software
• Good analytical, problem- solving skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
• Service-minded and cooperative
• Structured, high level of precision and detailed orientation
• Ability to work effectively and systematically under pressure
• Bachelor degree in economics, Supply Chain  or other technical area is an advantage
• Fluency in English and Norwegian. Fluency in other foreign languages like German, French, Dutch is an advantage
• Ability to learn new IT programs quickly, experienced user of MS Office and Notes
