Trailer Workshop Administrator

The Role… DFDS Immingham are looking for a Trailer Workshop Administrator to join their team. You will be responsible for all administrative tasks and will report to the Workshop Manager

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaising with customers relating to work carried out at the Trailer Workshop and various services/work carried out on the terminal.
  • Liaising with other departments, group companies, external authorities, and terminal staff as and when required in connection with the above responsibilities.
  • Completion of all tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Assisting in maintaining a comprehensive filing system.
  • Consistently finding ways to improve accuracy and preparation of information.
  • Producing routine and ad hoc reports for management as required.

 

GENERAL RESPONSBILITIES:

  • Adhere to all relevant policies, operating procedures, and standards at all times.
  • Always work with due care and attention to ensure the personal safety of yourself and others.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Carry out any other role or task that is commensurate with the spirit and purpose of this job description
  • Ensure all daily defect reports are completed.

  • Ensure the correct PPE is worn as required.
