We are looking for a Test Engineer at our Reverse Logistics Team, HW Assembly & Test Department at Kongsberg Maritime AS site Carpus, Kongsberg.

 

With the right qualifications and attitude, you will be an important part of our Reverse Logistics Team.

 

Main Tasks:

• Technical evaluation of returned parts
• Test and verification of returned parts
• Warranty claims towards vendors
• Develop test procedures and test equipment
• Close collaboration with Product Department, Customer Support and other internal customers

 

Responsibilities:

• Secure profitable return handling processes
• Secure high quality and traceability on returned parts to warehouse
• Maintain and develop procedures and routines

 

Qualifications and competence:

• Technical education with both HW and SW experience
• Computer HW knowledge is an advantage
• English and Norwegian language, both verbal and in writing
• Systematic and structured with high focus to reach established goals
• Good communication and cooperative skills
• Ability and motivation to share knowledge and raise the level of your co-workers
• Self driven person with high degree of flexibility and responsibility
• Ability to deal with several activities simultaneously in a hectic environment with a service minded attitude
