We are currently looking for a high-performing person for the position of Technical Support. In this role you will be a of Waterjet Service team for Technical Support and technical documentation.
The role will be based in Kongsberg Maritime - Product Service Center, Gdynia.

Key responsibilities

• Handle technical Support related cases for Waterjets (mechanical, hydraulic and electrical)
• Develop technical documentation and -guides for our customers together with the WJ Service Team
• Provide technical documentation and support material on large dockings, repairs and overhauls
• Support and collaborate with different engineering teams
• Continuous improvement and development of the process related to the creating and updating documentation

Key qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering mechanics or equal
• Experience in working on similar position (in maritime industry would be preferred)
• Experience in CAD/PLM (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Siemens NX, Teamcenter) is considered as an advantage
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• High motivation to work
• Ability to exercise judgement and act on own initiative
• Fluent spoken and written English
