Technical Lead, After Sales & Service

The After Sales & Service Department serves 100+ customers worldwide to ensure reliable flow of hydrogen production and optimized performance on the delivered equipment. We are offering services as, but not limited to; troubleshooting during operation, service and maintenance programs, technical inspections, part replacements and spare part management.

We are in a need of a Technical Lead who will have the overall technical responsibility in the After Sales & Service Department.

Your areas of responsibility will be to:

  • Have the overall technical responsibility for the After Sales & Service Department
  • Have the overall overview on status and performance of Nel Alkaline hydrogen equipment at our customers sites
  • Proactively give customers support and technical advice during operation
  • Collect status and performance data from our customers plants and maintain our related status data library
  • Lead improvements projects for After Sales & Service such as Online Monitoring, Cloud based operational data library or digitalization of archive
  • Give input to internal product improvement programs
  • Be able to fill the role as Project Manager for After Sales & Service projects


Experience:

  • Experience from technology or project organizations with strict requirements for HSE, quality, precision and workmanship
  • Experience from technical project management
  • Experience with leading technical discussions and negotiations with clients
  • Experience with managing international customers and have a cross cultural mindset

 

Education:
Bachelor/master or relevant technical education/experience in Computer Science/IT, mechanics, electrical, process or automation.

Personality:

  • Be service-minded and solution-oriented with the ability to see potential for improvement
  • Take initiatives, be analytical, systematic and independent
  • Be easygoing and a strong team player both towards internal and external customers
  • Have a strong problem-solving mindset to effectively support customers’ needs and also challenge existing solutions with new perspectives
  • Be able to work systematically, analytically and independently in a hectic and changing environment
  • Be proactive, tidy, accurate and have a positive attitude
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent English and Norwegian oral and written skills.
