Kongsberg Maritime, Global Customer Support division

Position description:

• Regional and Local customer focus 
• Focus on Customer solutions (technical, not sales)
• Solutions directly related to installation market
• Promote/Innovate KM solutions to customer special projects
• Support and develop the team’s competence
• Spend time/dedicated sitting/working at customer site for defined amount of time (weeks/month) or duration of assigned projects
• Consider higher volume/fleet/SLA customers
• Local contact/mediator for between customer and project management in the region when needed
• Technical point of contact for assigned customers
• Ensure customers are aware of KM solutions
• Work closely with Aftermarket sales
• Be part of the regional “Technical Advisor Team” for P&H Americas
• Technical escalation point in the region
• In-Office Technical support to our customers (mail/phone support).
• Proactively follow up on requests, cases and incidents to ensure continuous progress and feedback to customers
• Remote Support
• Assist engineers, coordinators and aftermarket in technical and operational issues
• Facilitate our internal and external service network with exchange of knowledge
• Ensure effective links with other departments in our organization
• Participate in 24/7 duty phone / Trio
• Some travel activity  

Key experience and requirements:

• Senior or Lead engineer looking to use their expertise to mentor, advise sales, customers, and drive customer experience through remote support
• Collaborative and Team Player
• Desire to share technical expertise
• Engage and Communicate
• Able to travel internationally

The position reports to local Operations Manager.
