Kongsberg Maritime, Global Customer Support division is responsible for all Kongsberg Maritime’s services and support in the aftermarket. Field Service Merchant delivers control systems and alarm systems for all types of vessels. Our projects are based on Service, Commissioning, upgrading / replacement of KM and others makers, Integrated Automation & Control Systems on vessels worldwide.

Our technical solutions have success in the market; the goal is to maintain and strengthen this position in the future. Based on this, we are looking for another Technical Advisor with the applicable competence to join our team.

The KONGSBERG fleet management application portfolio offers a broad range of functionality to optimize energy efficiency on-board a vessel and assist users’ working processes within planned maintenance, inventory management, procurement, QSE, documentation, forms, certificates, voyage reporting and fleet operations.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Support and assistance for customer world wide
• Engineering, configuration and software modifications in KM tools
• HMI and report design
• Point of contact for our Fleet license agreements
• Delivery of new projects
• Remote service and modifications on live vessels
• Cloud services (Azure)

Requirements:

• Data / IT engineer or relevant experience from the maritime business
• Fluent English skills both written and oral
• Favorable with knowledge within MS SQL, MS Office, Delphi, communication protocols and /or ship logbooks

• Self-starter/self-motivated person with a positive attitude and good co-operative skills
