Kratos is a leading provider of satellite control and monitoring solutions to satellite operators with a 80 % global market share. Kratos is now developing new generation RF and monitoring solutions. We are looking for a Technical Leader to contribute in the development of solutions for digitizing satellite ground stations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the technical development for one or several of our products in cooperation with the Scrum Master
• Design, architecture, mentoring and follow up of technical progress
• Product release , technical risk assessment and technical product documentation
• Research and evaluate technology options
• Contribute to product roadmaps, CI/CD and development tool strategy
• Collaboration with other Kratos teams (mainly in the US)
• Support other parts of the organization at need (sales, delivery, customer support)

Experience:

• Higher technical education within software development, minimum Master degree
• Significant and documented experience in software design, software architecture and development.
• Object oriented programming, C#, C++, .NET
• CI/CD
• Atlassian toolchain
• Digital communications, signal processing
• Very good communication skills with ability to mentor.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks in parallel
• Able to predict challenges and apply good problem-solving approaches.
• Managerial experience, with delegation skills and a sense of personal accountability.
• Firsthand experience with Virtualization techniques tools.
• Docker containers and Kubernetes
• Communication protocols, e.g. TCP/IP, 3GPP
• Experience with Linux and Windows platforms
• Distributed systems and microservices ·
• Experience with scrum and agile development processes and tools
• Result-oriented, methodical and structured
• Customer focused
• Speak and write English fluently
