Team manager within Technology Savings & Investment Custody

We are currently looking for a Team manager to join the Custody Internal Front team. The team is part of the Custody department and an important player within the Custody-Core Tribe within the Savings area. Our mission is to, in close cooperation with the Business and Operation in C&PC Savings (Corporate and Private Customers), develop IT solutions for our customers.

About the job

Custody department consist of 6 teams and are part of Savings and Investment area within Technology, developing IT solutions in close cooperation with Operation and Business within Savings area within C&PC. The team Custody Internal Front develops and maintains web-applications for our internal users but are also responsible for applications that handle reporting, as-a-service-components and more. Technologies used are mainly Angular, .Net-core and SQL Server. The team is located in both Stockholm and Vilnius and consists of developers, testers and scrum master.

You will become part of the Savings Tribe in Arenastaden. Together with product owners, we are responsible for all development and lifecycle management of the applications that support the bank's processes for Savings and Custody aimed at C&PC customers. As we are in constant transformation the architecture will change and our delivery teams will take on new responsibilities. We plan and prioritize according to the SAFE framework.

Your responsibility as a team manager is to maintain a high performing team. You do that through building confidence, empower and coaching the team members to contribute to meet and exceed customer needs. You take part in Program Increment (PI) planning, a cadence-based event that serves as the heartbeat of our ART’s and tribe. According to these plans; you are responsible for capacity and delivery planning for the team, ensuring that the right competencies and skills are in place.

You will plan and follow up the IT cost budget and follow-up for the systems, as well as secure its availability and that necessary lifecycle activities I performed. You will drive change initiatives as part of the business plan and promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement to ensure efficient ways-of-working, high quality solutions and managed risks.

Who are you?
To thrive and succeed in your role with us you need several years of experience in software development, preferably in a scaled agile delivery setup. You have a solid technical knowledge and a track record of implementing change in teams to streamline their way of working. You have excellent leadership skills and managing and inspiring people in their daily work has been your responsibility for several years. You have experience of handling stakeholders at various levels, both within IT and the business. You speak Swedish and English fluently.

As a person, you are a team-player and great at collaborating with and through others. You are solution-oriented and like to drive innovation and change. You have a humble and pragmatic approach, and the ability to work strategically as well as operationally.
