Do you want to be part of Kongsberg Maritime’s future with a fast-track technical position that will give you an opportunity to learn new skills in exciting maritime applications? We are currently looking for a highly motivated Spare parts & Service Support Coordinator to join our team.

As a Spare Parts & Service Support Coordinator - Government / ITAR, you will be responsible for after-market service quotes, invoices, engineer debriefs.

  • Prepare service and spare parts quotes as requested by the customer or TA including quoting, ordering, confirming, invoicing, and collections.
  • Review new work orders and open the related job in Dynamics. Open sales orders for parts and service.
  • Request purchase orders from customers.
  • Coordinate to order any parts necessary for the job that are unavailable in stock. Answer any customer questions relating to this purchase.
  • Communicate with the customer during the service and assist with all questions other than engineer scheduling or technical issues.
  • Update Dynamics for all job-related activities including, but not limited to, time, expenses and parts
  • Review information for accuracy.
  • Invoice customer and follow-up with customer if invoice is not paid timely.
  • Creation of Custom’s Invoices, Country of Origin docs and interaction with Freight Forwarder.
  • Other projects and assignments
  • Optional- On-call rotation
  • Participate in KPI and P&L meetings as needed
  • Coordinate and Invoice Government and ITAR related services.

 

Accountability

 

  • Handle all quoting and billing inquiries unless a Manager’s approval is needed for credits, discounts, etc.
  • Meet with engineering Group Managers and TAs to make final financial decisions on service jobs.
  • Talk directly with customers to collect unpaid debt.

 

Expected Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Customer Service or Finance
  • Knowledge of KM Worldwide organizations, products, deliveries, and customers a plus.
  • Committed and reliable
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other Windows bases ERP system is a plus
  • Knowledge of operating a PC and working with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage time and meet required deadlines
  • Good written and verbal communication with both internal and external customers
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Ability to be self-sufficient
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
