We have teams with high competency and ability to deliver, consisting of product owners, techies, UX designers and others. Our teams work agile and have a DevOps responsibility.

Your mission as a Software Engineer in our Digital Experience team:

As a Software Engineer, you will join a team of engaged and dedicated engineers who are working hard building personalized customer experiences. Together with us you will build and maintain responsive web pages and prototypes, frameworks and integrations. You will interact closely with IT architects, product owners, UX designers and other software engineers.

You’ll participate in everything from design, implementation, quality assurance, experimentation, testing, deployment, monitoring and documentation of the services we build and maintain. We focus on creating the best developer experience towards our services and contribute to best practices and knowledge sharing internally as well as externally.

In this position, you will play a significant role in exploring, defining and scaling our future revenue streams.

What we need:

We are looking for engineers with a growth mindset who inspire colleagues and external partners, with a mix of humbleness, but also can take the lead.

You should be passionate about technology and have a strong interest in learning about and playing with new technologies. But almost equally important is your ability to be a good team player and that you understand the need to cooperate with others in order to reach great results.

Background and technical skills:

• You are a skilled frontend engineer or full stack engineer with strong knowledge towards frontend technologies.
• You have completed higher education within computer science, cloud computing or other related technical field, but we also acknowledge that extensive relevant experience may make up for this.
• You have experience translating design and wireframes into high quality code
• You are an expert in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks, e.g. React
• Demonstrated passion for user experience design and improved user-friendliness
• You are fluent in English (both oral and written). Norwegian skills are a plus.

It is also a big plus if you have experience with one or more of the following:

• Working in cross-functional teams with agile methodology
• Optimizing components for high performance
• Node.JS, Java
• Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Designing, building and maintaining REST APIs
• Modern authorization mechanisms, e.g. JSON Web Token
• Content Management Systems
• Agile development methods
• Solid understanding of automated testing, continuous integration and deployment practices
• Privacy and security by design
