With Statkraft, you’ll be working and collaborating alongside other technology and digital experts to innovate, maintain and provide the world with renewable energy. 

 

As an Erlang developer, you will engage with the business by developing customized systems giving Statkraft a competitive edge in the power market. In this role you will:

• Work closely with the business to understand the business process and needs; design the technical concept and develop high quality software within agreed timescales
• Support the agile release- and sprint planning process through analysis and estimation of development work
• Develop and maintain sophisticated robotic trading systems
• Play an essential part of developing the team and processes within Statkraft

 

What you bring along:

• MS degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study
• Experience in professional software development
• Professional and/or open-source work in at least one “functional” programming language (ideally Erlang or Elixir, but Lisp or ML is also possible)
• Excellent Python skills
• Basics of Linux command line usage
• PostgreSQL competence and knowledge of Azure technology would be beneficial
• Some familiarity with web front-end, Angular, REST, GraphQL
• Experience with the actor model (Erlang, Akka, Akka.NET)
• Excellent communication skills in English – German is optional
