As a software developer, you will

• Engage in development teams where we strive to be more agile in terms of organizing, managing and executing our work with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with team and stakeholders on requirement understanding, design and solutions in line with our system architecture and technology strategy.
• Build and maintain high performing and high-quality code base, including automated tests, by applying technology and development best practices.
• Provide necessary technical documentation to enable visibility and maintainability of designs and code.
• Play a role in acquiring and learning new technology trends, expertise and best practices to keep the team’s collective knowledge up to date.

 

Qualifications and experience

• Formal education within the field of software development or computer science is desirable, but relevant practical experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
• Presentation (front-end): Hands-on experience with WPF is desirable, but as we are moving towards a more web-based front end it is a plus if you have web competence as well, like HTML5.
• Business logic: Hands-on experience with C++ 11/14/17 is required as our business logic is currently C++ and C#.
• Experience with tools such as TFS, Git and Visual Studio is an advantage.
• Understanding of communication protocols like DDS or similar is an advantage.
