Slickline Operator

Job Summary:
Due to increased WS activity, DNO is now seeking a Slickline operator. The successful candidate will provide Slickline operation experience to WS Department to ensure the delivery of safe, effective Slickline operation field plan as per DNO standards.
Health, Safety, Environment and security are core values at DNO and are taken incredibly seriously. The Slickline operator will help for preparation of all Slickline operation in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knows and follows safety policies and procedure during Slick line operations.
- Inspects Well area and well head prior to rigging up to insure it is safe to work.
- Makes sure everything is safe and to have safe work habits. Be aware of emergency procedure.
- Uses proper tools for any type of job.
- Assists in inspection and redressing of Slick line tools.
- Makes sure is aware of potential dangers (H2S, fire, weather, etc)
- Assist the Slickline Operator with all assigned tasks
- Rig up and down equipment on location
- Assemble, clean, disassemble, and utilize slickline equipment
- Perform shop duties while not in the field
- Load and unload slickline equipment into toolboxes
- Maintain and promote a safe working environment
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 2 year of experience in oil/gas industry.
- Be familiar with Slick line tools. Preferred.
- Mechanical ability to fix small problem (Pneumatic, hydraulic, etc).
- Willing to follow directive & rules.
- Able to work under pressure.
