Position

We are looking for a shore-side warehouse supervisor, in Dunkirk (France)

Under the direction of the Shore Side Shop Manager, the Shore-side Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for the daily operations of the shore-side duty free shop. This will include ensuring the optimum allocation of the staff available across the operation to meet peaks in demand. Ensuring that the highest standards of customer service are delivered to meet customer satisfaction targets and that customer queries and complaints are managed on-site where possible. They will also ensure correct stock management so that product availability is maintained on the shop floor and that merchandising standards are met. In addition, they will be responsible for processing the daily banking.

 

Your Main Responsibilities :

• Receiving and checking deliveries to the shop and entering them into the EPOS system (LS Retail).

 • To lead the monthly stocktakes and ensure that stock levels are accurately reflected in the EPOS system (LS Retail).

• Completion of correct customs documentation as required by the authorities.

 • Ensuring that stock levels on the shop floor at maintained and that merchandising meets the described standards.

• Collection of trollies and baskets from the drop off areas to ensure that enough are available at the shop entrance to meet customer demand.

 • Preparing ‘Select & Collect’ orders and manning the collection point when required to process orders and take final payment.

 •Stock Management duties such as stock counts using the devices and equipment provided.

• Other duties as requested by the Shore-side Shop Supervisor and Shore-side Shop Manager related to the daily operation of the shop.

Profile :

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated person. A good level of spoken English and French is required. A basic level of numeracy to allow the handling of cash, giving the correct change, and working the EPOS System (LS Retail). A basic level of computer skills to allow them to use the EPOS System.

 

Soft skills :

You have a problem solving mindset/ability to manage conflicting priorities. You can rely on excellent communication skills and are driven by growing business with a positive Customer focused attitude
