You will be a part of a specialized team in the CFO area which will be consisting of 8 persons driving digitalisation across business areas and countries. The team is divided in 4 focus areas:

• Intelligent automation: Drive automation through usage of RPA and other tools
• Process mining: Utilize process mining technology (Celonis) to support continuous improvement and process analytics
• Analytics and business intelligence: Move from traditional reporting to analytics
• ERP platform: Current focus is next generation ERP platform enabling core digital capabilities like ML, real time data processing and AI.

We work closely together with our IT department and business areas to deliver improvements, using center of excellences setup for running and prioritizing.

Focus Area: Intelligent automation

You will be part of the Intelligent Automation centre of excellence, that is covering process analyses and design, to enable automations in various financial processes. Besides the process part and traditional IT supported in-system developments we are also responsible for the RPA (robotic process automation) technology and develop and support automations in this area. We need you to strengthen our process and RPA support abilities to cover the automation needs and requirements to ensure business excellence for the future in our CFO area. As being part of the CFO digital area, we work closely together with process mining, business intelligence/ visualization and the Statkraft ERP platform colleagues. Curiosity and the willingness to cooperate across technologies with focus on business needs are key, and business partnering/collaboration skills are major enablers.

Your role:

• Collect and evaluate business requirements for projects and process improvement/automation efforts as a business analyst
• Prepare and present business process proposals based on interviews and identified data flows and business needs 
• Identify issues and risks in existing ways of working and remove bottlenecks to enable automation potential
• Participate in the problem resolution and in the process design together with the business experts to ensure tailor-made automations with good business returns
• Coordinate and lead workshops with business resources and technical resources

Your profile:

• Education in Business Management, Information Technology, Financial Management or similar, but we need one of the pillars in place
• Working experience as a Business Analyst for 5 year or comparable knowledge (ideally in energy or technical consultancy)
• Experience in energy or commodity trading experience an advantage
• Data- and process-driven approach/ personality. We are more data engineers than data scientists, but we must understand what business requires.
• Interested in state-of-the-art automation technologies (UIPath e.g.) and curiosity to stay updated based on own interest 
• Being open minded to new technologies and evaluate their business needs in our area like cognitive tools and general usage of machine learning 
• Business Intelligence/ data analysis driven mindset 
• Knowledge of ERP setup/operating, consolidation software or ETRM systems is recommended (SAP ERP, COGNOS, Murex, Brady, ESales as examples) 
• Understanding of RPA/ ML software products with programming experience
