IT Markets is responsible for development and maintenance of all IT solutions relevant for DNB Markets. DNB Markets is Norway’s leading investment bank in terms of its size and the breadth of its expertise.

We are expanding our development team in Oslo and are looking for a software engineer seeking challenges within risk management, algorithmic and automated FX trading. You will interact closely with traders, quants, IT architects and other software engineers.

What we need

In algorithmic trading milliseconds can be the difference between profit and loss, so you should have a passion for code fast as lightning. We are looking for a full stack developer for our automated solutions in FX trading. Our backend is written in Java and frontend in Javascript/React so you should be familiar with these technologies or similar. Our applications run on Linux hosts so you should not be afraid of the terminal. A master’s degree in computer science or other related technical fields is expected.

You will be the key person from the IT side working on our algorithmic trading solutions in currency exchange, cooperating closely with quants and traders. You will spend time on development of new concepts but also maintenance of existing software. We don’t expect you to understand all our applications on day one, but we expect an eagerness to learn. In the long term we expect you to be the one who introduces new technology and keeps updated on the latest. Lastly, we require you to be fluent in English, both orally and in writing, and we expect you to learn Norwegian in time if you don't already.
