To support the growth ambitions, we have recently made some changes in the HR organization in Statkraft, and also for the HR unit of the business area M (Markets and IT). M is the business area responsible for providing market solutions for renewable energy, and has the ambition of becoming market leading, integrating Statkraft’s and our customers’ production and consumption into the market. M has more than 800 employees in Europe, South America, India and the USA.   

We are now looking for a senior HR professional to join the HR team and help us successfully deliver on our strategy and ambitions by further shaping the organization and workforce. You will be part of a dedicated HR team that delivers support to the business area Markets and IT in Statkraft and collaborates closely with the rest of the HR community on a regular basis. The role will be based in either Germany, Düsseldorf or Norway, Oslo and reports to the Vice President HR Markets and IT 

About your role:  

As HR Senior Consultant/Advisor you will be a part of the HR team Markets and IT, supporting the Vice President HR. Together you will be a key strategic partner for the Management team on people and organizational topics, and ensure that HR deliveries support the business needs. Your key activities and responsibilities are to 

  • Proactively translate business needs, the business areas’ strategy and priorities into strategic HR priorities, and ensure that these are addressed in the overall HR strategy. 
  • Effectively communicate, prepare and facilitate discussions with the Management Team in the Business Area Markets and IT regarding business needs, strategy and priorities 
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with Corporate HR and Local HR to ensure the business areas needs for both operative and strategic HR deliveries as far as possible are met by Statkraft’s global processes and concepts. Participate in development of shared Statkraft processes and initiatives, as needed. 
  • The needs that are not met through Statkraft’s global processes and concepts, will be addressed through specific initiatives/projects, identifying the relevant strategic HR initiatives/projects. 
  • Lead or have a key role in specific HR projects/initiatives, including initiation, development and implementation of HR initiatives/projects in the organization, working closely with stakeholders across the organization, Local HR and Corporate HR.  
  • Topics of such initiatives and projects are strategic HR topics with high priority and includes (but is not limited to) Talent Management (including attraction, mobility, compensation, competence dev., engagement, and retention), Diversity and Inclusion, Strategic Workforce Planning and Organizational and Culture Development. Topics will vary over time, depending on business needs. 

About you:

  • Relevant master’s degree  
  • Strong consulting and project management skills, with strong drive and ability to drive initiatives forward 
  • Experience in working with HR on an operational and strategic level, within a wide range of topics such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, People and Organizational Development 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think conceptually (both develop and implement new concepts) 
  • Significant experience in change management, eexperience in handling multiple stakeholders, on all hierarchical levels and to build strong relationships  
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed international company  
  • Self-driven, ability to multitask and a positive team player 
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written  
  • Fluent in English, other European languages are seen as a plus
