Working in Performance and Risk Management 

Performance and risk management (FC) is part of the CFO organisation. FC’s main responsibilities are performance management, business analysis and controlling and group risk management. The department is working in close cooperation with the BA Finance units and other departments in the CFO organisation. 

Performance management is a unit within FC and is responsible for key elements of the performance management process in Statkraft, such as business planning, reporting of group scorecard and business reviews. Group performance management focuses on financial performance and value creation in operations and strategy execution. The main tool is group and business areas’ scorecards and KPIs. The unit has an ambition to ensure data-driven and forward-looking performance management, and to support this we are looking for a highly skilled and motivated colleague to join us in further developing the department. The position reports to Vice President Performance Management and involves interaction with professionals and senior management across the company. The content of the position can be adapted to qualifications and interests and represents a great development opportunity for the right candidate. 

As a Senior Financial Advisor in Group Performance Management, you will:

• Have a leading role in reporting of Group Scorecard to Corporate Management and Board of Directors
• Drive the development and implementation of tools and KPIs to follow up Statkraft’s growth portfolio

• Support, train and advise in performance management (across the Finance function)

• Contribute to position the Performance management unit in its areas of expertise including competence building and support to the business areas
• Support/lead improvement projects and activities 

About you

• Master’s degree in Finance and Business Administration or similar
• Experience with performance management, business analysis and controlling, preferably from a large industrial company, management consultancy or similar
• Strong commercial/ business understanding
• Strong analytical capacity and ability to draw and communicate implications of analysis
• Self-driven, comfortable with tight deadlines and a positive team player 

Also useful in your role:

• A strong interest for driving the digitalisation agenda related to performance management and business controlling
• Experience with using SAP/ERP system and Business Intelligence software
• Fluent in English and Norwegian, both written and orally
