Senior Advisor Performance Management

The business area European Wind and Solar (E) is responsible for development and ownership of wind and solar assets in Europe.  In addition, E is responsible for the execution of large projects to all business areas, the group procurement function and new business development.

E Finance is responsible for financial reporting, risk and performance management, compliance, supporting large scale projects in the business area and acting as Finance business partners to E management.

Performance management is a part of the Performance, Risk management and Compliance department in E Finance. To execute our new strategy there is a need to strengthen the performance management area and to further improve our performance management concepts and supporting systems and tools.

The performance management responsibilities are business area planning, forecasting and KPI reporting. You will be responsible for helping define and implement the key performance management concepts, processes and supporting systems and tools that enable effective and efficient performance management. In collaboration with E risk management there is also an ambition to create stronger links between performance and risk management.

You will also be responsible for consolidating, understanding and challenging performance in the business area to ensure that we deliver on our strategic plan. Delivering the business area’s group reporting will be a further integral part of this role.

You will in addition work actively to support our finance business partners in their execution of performance management processes with E units across our regions and countries.

The role reports to Vice President for Performance, Risk management and Compliance in the business area European wind and solar.

 

Your Role:

  • Drive the continuous development of the performance management process within European Wind and Solar
  • Responsible for E business area planning, KPI reporting, forecasting and portfolio reporting
  • Further develop holistic performance management concepts, supporting tools and analyses
  • Being the super user of relevant tools for performance follow up
  • Drive the improvement agenda within performance management in collaboration with the finance business partner team in E and group CFO area

 

Your profile:

  • 8 + years of professional experience from performance management, reporting or similar
  • Higher education at master level within business, finance or accounting
  • Strong communication skills both written and orally
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the organization
  • Knowledgeable about finance technologies and willingness to learn new technical solutions
  • Strong process understanding
  • A team player with a problem-solving mindset
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience from the energy sector is an advantage
  • Knowledge about SAP BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud and other analysis and visualization tools is an advantage
