Sales Manager - Handling Solutions

A great opportunity has opened in Deck Machinery & Motion Control and we are looking for our next Sales Manager – Handling Solutions. In this role you will be responsible for sales and customer management for Subsea & Special Purpose vessels/Naval for handling solutions towards handling of AUV/USV and other mission critical equipment. This is an exciting product area where you will get the opportunity to develop strategies for sales and integrate and develop the new sales work in the business. To succeed in this role, we think you have strong product knowledge, preferably from the operational side, combined with experience from working with customers.
Key accountabilities
- Develop Sales and Customer strategies for Handling Solutions
- Define and lead Sales Campaigns based on the agreed strategy for Kongsberg Maritime products and services delivering profitable growth in line with the committed business plan
- Provide excellent customer management and ensure customer satisfaction
- Preparation of quotations and manage contract negotiations
- Provide market and customer feedback to ensure effective and customer aligned product development and product strategies
- Coordinate customer activities with sales resources in the region
Qualifications and experience
- Formal background from customer management, project management and/or engineering
- Solid product and operational knowledge
- Strong communication skills in English and Norwegian
- International experience and cultural awareness
- Commercial awareness/background
