Project Sales Manager-Decorative

Jotun is presented in over 100 countries around the world with 37 production facilities. in Norway is one of the biggest global paint manufacturers in the world. Supplying paints and coatings with four segments such as Protective, Marine, Decorative and Powder Coatings is represented in Asia region with Regional labs and offices in Kuala Lumpur, factories in Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, and Myanmar.

Jotun Myanmar has been established since 2013 and we have based in Bago Region. The factory is mainly produced with Decorative, Protective and Marine Coatings. The factory plans to have the production in of 5 million liters yearly.

With the growth of Jotun in Myanmar, this successful candidate will be responsible to Develop the Decorative project market in Myanmar, through planning, executing and monitoring sales objectives and collections to achieve sales budget, drive sales & specification activities and develop customer relationships to ensure sustainable growth in value, volume, profitability.  This position will be based in Yangon and report directly to Sales and Marketing Manager, Decorative Project.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Achieve Team sales target by mapping all projects in Yangon and implementing effective approach and sales plans to ensure the result are in line with the company business plan
  • Develop project sales within the targeted 6 key segments namely residential, commercial, hotel and resorts, education, health flooring repainting segments basing on the following :

1. Iconic Buildings

2. Development of relationship with key accounts

3. concern of background of customers

  • Plan, manage and monitor payments collection with existing and new customers to achieve the company budgeted sales and gross margin.
  • Monitors competitors’ activities, strategies, chart as well as prices. Come up with the plan against the movement of the competitors and discuss with Sales and Marketing Manager
  • Plan, schedule and implement the paint school activities for paint applicators, project engineers developers every month.
  • Promote Jotun through main contractors, architects by providing specification assistance to enhance confidence in our products and services.
  • Maintain DSO by having regular meetings to ensure DSO is achieved and meets the targeted minimum set by management.
  • Cooperate with technical service personnel to ensure is carried out at all required job and to ensure painting works applied in accordance.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree with 4 to 6 years of experiences in Project Sales Management
  • Experience and knowledge on Customer Relationship Management and Microsoft Office are necessary
  • Fluent oral and written in English and Burmese are essential
