Our Deck Machinery and Motion Control division owns, develops and delivers world class handling solutions, with focus on system solutions and integration driving increased efficiency in our customers' operations. The division is responsible for product and technology development, supply chain operations and project delivery for all Kongsberg Maritime’s winches and handling solutions.

We are looking for a Project Manager with a commercial mind-set for our Delivery and Quality team. You will be responsible for projects with high complexity in an engineer-to-order and customized solutions environment. Our Project Managers play the lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projects with high complexity. You are expected to deliver a project on time, within the budget and to the right quality. This is a senior role in our organization and requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

 

Key accountabilities

  • Deliver projects on time, at the right quality and within budget
  • Lead cross-functional and diverse project teams
  • Strong focus on risk management
  • Be a visible and clear leader in the day-to-day management of a project on behalf of the portfolio owner
  • Manage and develop relationships with clients and external and internal stakeholders


Qualifications and experience

  • Education at Bachelor level as a minimum, Master level is preferred
  • Experience from project management or similar leadership experience is an advantage
  • Technical understanding
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English
  • Business acumen
