The Project Engineer is a role which coordinates the technical activities in the layer between onboard equipment and our world class data analytics offerings through life.

 

Key accountabilities

• Engineering of Digital solutions; e.g. K-IMS, Health Management and input/output to 3rd party systems
• Life-cycle management and through life evolution of digital offerings. 
• Participate in continuous improvement and standardization of Digital solutions
• Create and maintain technical sales documentation
• Create and maintain as installed documentation and configuration of system deliveries
• Developing services supporting improvements for sustainable operation of vessels

 

Qualifications and experience

• Educated as Bachelor or equivalent - Relevant experience can compensate for formal education.
• Preferably Experience as Project Engineer and customer relations
• PLM tools knowledge, preferably Siemens Teamcenter
• Knowledge of Kongsberg Maritime Products and digital offerings.
• Self-starter / self-driven person with positive attitude.
• Excellent Collaboration skills.
• Ability to handle several activities in parallel, in a complex and challenging global environment.
