KM Integrated Solutions (KM ISOL) division is responsible for product and technology development, supply chain operations and project delivery for all Kongsberg's Automation, Bridge Systems and Electro products and solutions. Since the development of the first Dynamic Positioning system in the 1970's, Kongsberg Maritime has always been in the forefront of developing leading Automation and Bridge Systems, and the Integrated Solution division is responsible for maintaining and further developing that substantial legacy. With this capability the division shall drive forward the new applications within Digitalization and new positions towards Next Generation Shipping. The division is also responsible for developing and delivering large projects by integrating solutions for Kongsberg to the maritime segments across our entire product range.

We are now looking for a highly motivated Product Advisor to govern, drive support and drive forward our digital products. The Product Advisor will report to Product Director Seaborne Applications. This position will work in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders in KM and as well externally to ensure that the Applications, Products and Solutions are closely aligned with our customers’ demands.

 

 Main tasks and responsibilities

• Support Sales & Marketing in assessing, capturing and addressing customers’ requirements
• Accountable for outlining specifications related to further development
• Contact point for wider KM organisation in developing digital solutions enabling the digitalization and digital value creation for in-house products
• Owner of the Life Cycle of the portfolio for the market
• Build business cases and execute

 

Requirements

• Demonstrated domain area expertise pertinent to fleet and vessel operation and/or digitalization
• Experience as within product management, or aspiring for such a challenge
• Experience from customer contact
• Fluency in English and Norwegian, both verbal and in writing
