An exciting opportunity has arisen as Product Advisor for Dynamic Positioning, reporting to Technical Product Manager, Dynamic Positioning. In this role, you will be a part of the DP product team responsible for maintenance and development of the K-Pos product with its wide range of functionality.

We are looking for a devoted Product Advisor for our world leading dynamic positioning product, K-Pos. With a huge installed base and a future with great opportunities for the products there are a lot of interesting challenges.

Key accountabilities

• Take an active role in developing new functionality to bring the DP product into new market segments, including “green shift” and “digitalization”
• Taking part in maintaining and modernizing the existing DP products and functionality towards the established target
• Actively work towards delivering added value for our customers
• Provide technical sales assistance to the sales organization
• Provide technical support to delivery projects and the customer support organization

 

Qualifications and experience

• MSc or BCs in cybernetics, hydro dynamics or electrical engineering
• Product knowledge, familiar with DP product and functionalities from development, delivery or service organization
• Market and operational knowledge, knowledge of DP operations
• Experience from product development work
• Good communication skills including both written and spoken English
