An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are looking for a highly motivated Principal Electrical Engineer, with experience as discipline Lead within maritime system solutions and system integrations. Our department is responsible for project delivery for all Kongsberg's Electro products and solutions. 

 

Key accountabilities:

• Preparation of electrical philosophies, technical specification, functional description and design documentation according to customer specifications, regulations, standards and class requirements.
• Lead of an international project team
• Follow-up of subcontractors from design phase to delivery after sea trial.
• IAT, FAT, planning, execution and risk management
• Participate as advisor at MC and Commissioning

 

Qualifications and experience:

The right candidate is Bachelor or Master Engineer and has great experience from project organizations within the maritime sector.

The position requires excellent maritime electrical system understanding and preferably experience from projects involving international colleagues and customers.

This position may require some travel activities to follow up our projects.
