P&A Project Manager/Engineer

The ISP Project Manager/Engineer is an active contributor in developing the short and long-term strategy for Well Abandonment, Well Intervention and Workover opportunities together with business group management.

In alignment with the agreed sales and business development plan for Norway, the ISP Project Manager/Engineer I works to establish customer relationships that enable the identification of customer needs and the positioning of Weatherford Well Abandonment solutions. Key responsibility is to ensure the organization is proactive by picking up opportunities early in the pipeline, well before tendering of the opportunities reach market. In collaboration with peers, the ISP Project Manager/Engineer proactively and strategically sells Weatherford solutions, technologies and services and also supports the integration of cross-PL services for Integrated solutions, where applicable. The P&A Project Manager/Engineer I must work pro-actively with multiple Weatherford Product Lines and Weatherford’s strategic partners (where appropriate) to offer integrated solutions to clients in Norway. Must have the technical and organizational capacity to take a lead role in upcoming Integrated Service Projects, with cross product line responsibilities. This includes responsibility for QAQC processes and following current regulations.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Technical expert
  • Support for the P&A Management
  • Well experienced in Tender work
  • Able to manage fully integreated projects in-house with customer
  • Experienced project manager
  • Multi-PL knowledge
  • Accountable for strategy and budget
  • Strong operational understanding of the oil and gas industry
  • Experience from both Oil Service sector and E&P Company is essential
  • Experience from RLWI/LWI operations are essential
  • Supervisor responsibility from both onshore and offshore operations
  • Ability to have in-depth technical discussions with Client technical personnel is essential
  • IWCF - Well intervention pressure control program Wireline and Coil tubing
  • Preferred IADC Drilling Well Control Certificate, Supervisor Level
  • Experience and proven track record on Well Integrity (Norsok D-010 and other standards)
  • Strong track record in high level client engagement
  • Existing relationships with Key clients in Norway
  • Experience in preparing and delivering client presentations
  • International business experience is beneficial and preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of Well Abandonment market and clients in Norway and client key drivers / decision-making criteria
  • Minmum B.S. degree in Engineering
