We are seeking an Operations Coordinator within our Cold Chain Logistics operation, to join our team in Aberdeen. … so, this could be the position for you!!!

Working Mon - Fri, 08:00 -17:00, with Saturdays worked on a rotational basis, we’ll need you to handle customers enquiries along with the planning of loads and routing of delivery vehicles. Problem solving, combined with a keen eye for detail are an essential part of this role. Excellent communication skills and telephone manner are crucial as you will be tasked with maintaining strong relationships with or customers, ensuring their queries are answered and resolved in an appropriate manner. With deadlines to meet, it is key that you can prioritise the workload, ensuring the correct information and data is entered into our internal systems. This will include handling any loading or unloading issues at the collection and delivery points as well as in our depot. The role itself will be varied, with a combination of administrative and operational tasks which differ from day to day. Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed in a timely manner with a high level of accuracy.

 

A proficient level of IT skills covering Microsoft packages is essential, combined with the ability to develop understanding of internal & external systems. We are looking for a good team player, to join our small group, who have a great working relationship, collaborating towards the common goals. The capability to work on your own initiative, along with a driven approach to all tasks is required, as you will be working within a fast-paced environment. Previous knowledge of transport operations would be advantageous, but if you have proven reliability, with a flexible & adaptable way of working, then you could be well suited for this position.
