The Role… We are currently recruiting for a Route Director based in Immingham for DFDS Logistics. This position will prove your leadership abilities, as well as your Operations, Commercial and Business acumen. The role is an exciting role where you will also step into the management team in Immingham covering all aspects of logistics.  The role will interest those with high demands to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Profit and Loss responsibility for a £70 million annual turnover, in co-operation with route management in the Nordic countries. 
• To set out the future for our Nordic traffics in co-operation with route management in the Nordic countries. 

• Set out the strategy for development of existing customers and potential customer
• Key account manager for our major customers
• Managing the sales team/and develop sales tariffs.
• Innovate and drive the department to meet high growth and result targets
• Proactively manage the business KPIs.

• Actively improve processes and bring about functional efficiencies.
• Close links with all functions in Immingham / Killingholme ensuring highest level of customer service and cost.
• Be very close to market developments and competitors
• Take an active part in the local management team in Immingham. 
• Overseas travel involved from time to time
