We are looking for a collaborative and reliable Mechanical Engineer to join our Deck Machinery team. We are looking to broaden our portfolio of products within the renewable markets such as offshore wind. With us you will contribute to the development of new and exciting products. We develop, deliver and maintain automated handling systems for complex marine operations. We encourage recent graduates to apply.

 

The position is in our Deck Machinery and Motion Control division which owns, develops and delivers world class handling solutions, with focus on system solutions and integration driving increased efficiency in our customers' operations. The division is responsible for product and technology development, supply chain operations and project delivery for all Kongsberg Maritime’s winches and handling solutions.

 

Key accountabilities

• Contribute to the development of new products, systems and concepts
• Contribute in shaping the product area in close collaboration with key industry players
• Multi-discipline collaboration within the different divisions in Kongsberg
• Execute customer deliveries
• Contribute to our team; socially and professionally

Qualifications and experience

• Degree within mechanical engineering
• Competence within mechanical 3D-design
• Practical experience from maritime industry or experience from offshore marine operations is an advantage
