The Oil & Gas business unit in the Integrated Solutions division is responsible for delivering Projects to Offshore Production Units (OPU). We deliver Safety and Automation systems to Oil Companies and Engineering companies. We aim at keeping KM at the forefront in delivering world class safety and automation solutions on time, cost and quality.

 

The System Design & Engineering team is a part of the Oil and Gas organization. This is a group of skilled engineers that perform early phase system design, tenders and studies for our safety system and automation control solutions. The group also drives the development and support of our Engineering Base tool.

 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

 

• Developing technical tenders and studies together with Sales 
• Collaborative work in integrated teams with Sales, Engineering project partners & Customers
• Develop and maintain Cost Time Resource (CTR) input to Sales
• Be a technical advisor for O&G delivery projects
• Engineering and configuration of Safety Automation Systems, prepare functional specifications, System Control Diagrams, test procedures and other project documentation
• Contribute actively in digitalization of O&G work methods and support ongoing projects with development and standardization of software tools like Engineering Base (EB) and Offline Configuration Tool (OCT) 

 

 Qualifications and Requirements

 

• Engineer (B.Sc./B.Eng) in Computer Science, Cybernetics, Automation, Control Systems.
• Beneficial with experience in safety systems, Control System or network/cyber security
• Beneficial with experience on data exchange between ERP systems and engineering tools
• Experience from engineering projects
• Technical and commercial mindset
• Comfortable working in a hectic, demanding international environment
• Independent, Professional and Quality-minded
• Positive, robust, tolerant and cooperative personality
• Fluent oral/written Norwegian and English communication
