Investment Banking Internship – Debt Financing Solutions

Bank

Are you interested in getting hands-on experience and learn what investment banking is all about? SEB’s Investment Banking Internship program offers you the possibility of getting practical knowledge from the leading investment bank in the Nordics. The application period for positions in autumn and winter 2021 is now open.

About the job
Our Investment Banking offering consists of two main areas, Corporate Finance and the departments for debt financing solutions. SEB is one of the leading banks in the Nordic region and offers debt financing solutions within four different product areas: Corporate Loan Origination, Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance and Structured Finance.

We offer high performing individuals a steep learning curve in an international work environment within finance. From day one you will take an active role in the preparation of pitch material as well as in live transactions. You will support our deal teams throughout projects by working with company and market risk analysis, legal documentation, and producing presentation materials. Work tasks will vary within the different areas but common for all is that you will work side by side with experienced colleagues and hence get the chance to quickly learn the business, build your network and experience our culture.

The internship periods are offered on a rolling basis throughout the year with each intake lasting 10 weeks, during which you work with a team within a debt financing product area. Occasionally we offer the opportunity to stay with us for two periods and work with more than one debt financing team or with Corporate Finance.

Who are you?
We are interested in applications from driven individuals with a team-player attitude and a genuine interest in business and finance. To be successful in your internship with us you need to have sharp analytical skills, be a fast learner as well as being dedicated and ambitious. You have a service minded attitude, a proactive approach, attention to detail, the ability to demonstrate high integrity, and take responsibility for your tasks.

Furthermore, you need to have completed at least two years of studies on an undergraduate level and have strong communication skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
