This summer job involves programming and replacement of control unit on one of our heave simulating test instruments to simulate wave motions during real life operations.

Main tasks

• Replacement of existing PC with a PC with Windows 10 operating system.
• Replacement of existing PCI-board wth a microcontroller.
• Porting of existing controller and GUI software code to a modern software language like Python or C.

Qualifications and experience of interest

• Skills in programming
• Some knowledge in electronics
