This position is placed in the business area Markets & IT (M), which has more than 700 employees in Europe, South America, India and USA. M’s major activities are energy management for Statkraft’s asset fleet, analysis, trading & origination and IT. 

The Digitalisation Office in MF (Finance & Risk) is a new department serving as the main interface between M's Finance & Risk and Statkraft’s IT department. The department centralises digitalisation activities for Finance & Risk, facilitates improvements in our core processes, develops and owns the functional system architecture, and ensures that MF's strategy and ambition can be met through relevant projects and initiatives.

 

Your role: 

You will be heading the Digitalisation Office team of approx. 10 employees from Düsseldorf and Oslo. You will be part of the Management Team within MFR reporting to the Vice President Risk, and regularly report to the MF management team.

Your main activities will include: 

• Close collaboration across Statkraft with key stakeholders to ensure successful set-up and operations of Digitalisation Office
• Develop and deliver digital roadmap for MF in close alignment with the different departments in MF and Statkraft’s IT department
• Drive continuous improvement for our key processes through digitalisation and a solid functional system architecture for MF. Develop and establish KPIs to drive this improvement
• Manage, develop and grow a highly professional and talented team that will
  • Execute the digital roadmap for MF supporting the digitalisation of processes
  • Mitigate dependencies and resource constraints within MF project portfolio
  • Define, anchor and continuously improve the TO BE functional system architecture for MF
  • Implement and execute system operations and data management for key MF processes

 

Your profile: 

• Min. 5-7 years in high performance environments, preferably with a focus on Finance & Risk and IT
• University education (preferably Master's degree) in the areas of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), Business Engineering, Economics or similar
• Demonstrated experience in leadership and growing and managing teams
• Ability to manage complex situations with a variety of different stakeholders
• Be able to think outside of the box, promoting expertise/solutions/options from various areas of IT and Business
• A true passion for building the bridge between IT and Business
• Experience with process improvement and project management an advantage
• High ambition, drive and an entrepreneurial outlook
• Ideally competence of applying business processes and systems within energy trading sector
• Reliable team player with excellent communication skills in English; Norwegian or German would be an advantage
