We are looking for a Frontend developer to join Digital Logistics Journey team at DFDS.
The team is building and maintaining multiple user facing and internal logistics applications using React, Typescript, GraphQL and Serverless architecture.
The application allows users to obtain logistics quotes, book services, as well as track their shipments and process documents – all in one place – with a goal to automate and minimize need for manual work.

In this role, you will be tasked to integrate and translate multiple backend services into smooth and efficient user experiences through close collaboration with UX, business stakeholders and backend developers.
Our frontend developers maintain and improve our in-house designed and developed library, giving everyone an opportunity to improve how user experiences are built beyond the confines of your team.

You will be joining a diverse team consisting of experienced javascript developers, a product owner, a UX designer and a scrum master – all of whom are well-positioned to help you understand the work done so far and the business justification for it.

What wwe are looking for 

We imagine that you have previous professional experience with React (or another modern frontend framework), GraphQL, Apollo, AWS services such as Lamdba, Cloudfront and S3 (not required, but will be considered an advantage), NodeJS.

It is important that you are keen to understand the business domain as well as learn the technology stack that DFDS and Team Direct have adopted. We are looking for someone who has a collaborative mindset and who seems themselves thrive in a team environment.
