Are you a time served Technician who has experience as a workshop controller or fleet role? Enjoy problem solving? Do you have a passion to learn and implement new ideas & processes? Have you the ability and desire to develop a strong network and relationships across various European locations? Are you an exceptional communicator? If so, we have the opportunity for you!!

Working Mon – Fri, you will be the liaison with our external and internal workshops. Implementing SLA’s, carrying out audits to ensure compliance, along with spot inspections and reporting on fleet assets. Taking the engineering lead on various projects, as well as training and development with the drivers and workshop teams, regarding innovation across the fleet. You will be required to analyse fleet spend and propose actions to reduce costs. Develop after sales and warranty control amongst core manufacturers.

Attention to detail is important, to highlight and recharge damage to third party hauliers. Authorisation of repair costs, whilst leading & supporting our Equipment controllers. Naturally in a position of this nature, there will be a level of administration as would be expected. You will be joining a relatively new team, who are very supportive of each other to help achieve their joint goals. The role will require an element of European travel throughout, all culminating in safeguarding and enhancing the service level offered by DFDS.
