An opportunity has opened up as Finance Director in the division Sensors & Robotics, Kongsberg Maritime. You will play a key role in the business units Management team, and report to the Vice President Finance.

 

Through insight, precision and clear strategic objectives, the position contributes to creating growth and profitability. We are looking for a responsible, analytical and business-oriented manager. You have documented good results behind you, and you alternate between tasks of an operational, tactical and strategic nature. As Finance Director, you will have a central role and be an important resource in the division’s improvement and development work.

 

Responsibilities

• Financial reporting, forecasting and budget process for the entire Business Unit, including subsidiaries abroad
• Evaluation- and management of risk, opportunities and financial impact
• Support decision making through commercial understanding and detailed analysis
• Actively participate in strategy work in short and long term
• Continuous improvement and process efficiency across the organization
• Develop strong working relationships with business, finance, and project leadership across the global organization
• Be an engaged business partner in the Business Units Management Team

 

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor or master’s degree in finance or economics
• Good business understanding and analytical skills
• Experience with guarantees and FX-risk assessments is an advantage
• Experience with project work and IFRS is an advantage
• Good understanding and efficient with tools such as ERP, HFM, Excel and Power BI
• Strong communication skills and the ability to relate well to people at all levels and to establish networks
