If so, we are looking for a Finance Business Analyst to join our team at Dover, and this could be the opportunity for you….

Working Mon -Fri, 08:30 – 17:00, in this role you will be required to deliver proactive commercial analysis to maximize the business performance of our onboard and shoreside services department. Driving future growth across a fleet of six vessels and our two border shops, utilising your excellent communication skills, both written & oral. Based at our Whitfield, Dover site, you will also be tasked to provide support in gathering information to support the business in making strategic decisions. We are seeking a team player, who can collaborate with our Onboard team, Finance & Group IT, to create & maintain the correct procedures for the use of the on-board sales & stock systems. Naturally, you will be reporting on various elements of the business on a monthly basis, such as inventory levels, wastage, shrinkage, positive & negative adjustments to stock, i.e., safeguarding the liquid assets of the business, to name but a few. This as well as preparing & reviewing trend analysis, providing commentary and insights as part of the monthly reporting process. Furthermore, you will be assisting in the financial modelling of business cases & financial plans for relevant proposals to drive EBIT/ROIC improvements.

Utilising strong analytical skills joined with your high attention to detail & accuracy, you will evaluate sales data for the border shops and provide insightful commentary to the finance business partner. This resulting in you assisting with the forecasting for the Border shops sales & margins, employing your softer commercial skills to challenge the business leaders in the correct manner, with the goal of improving margins and enhancing critical KPI’s each year.
