Digitalisation and Automation Coach

 

The world is going digital, and logistics is too! 

 

If you’re looking for a role where you can drive digitalisaton of commercial activities including bookings and quotations coupled with the ability to really influence challenging stakeholders and build partnerships – this is the role for you.

 

You’ll need to come in with fresh ideas and the willingness to learn in the areas of digital and change management.  You’ll need to be a strong believer in the importance to digitalise Logistics commercial processes to stay competitive and be an out-of-the box thinker that gets things done with high quality standards. Digitalisation Coaches work closely with the DFDS Direct team

 

As a Digitalisation Coach, you will develop knowledge of digital tools, thereby preparing yourself and the company for the future of the logistics’ industry. In this process you will enhance your sales and customer service skills with a digital mindset.  You will be working closely with the DFDS Direct team and thereby be visible to the Venture Board of DFDS Direct, which is made of DFDS’s CEO, CTO and EVP of Logistics, as well as to the Logistics Management Team. You will also be part of a community of Digitalisation Coaches across the Logistics division that share their experience regularly.

 

Main responsibilities:

  • Be a superuser of all commercial digital tools (e.g. DFDS Direct, SQP and standard EDI integration) to support colleagues in using / on-boarding customers on such tools
  • Coordinate and support digitalisation activities in your local office, e.g. training colleagues, assigning customers to digitise to colleagues and distribute guides and tools developed by the DFDS Direct team
  • Track progress, challenge colleagues and customers when progress is slow, and ensure continuous focus on digitalisation, e.g. by making sure actions and next steps are determined, taken and logged for each customer
  • Provide feedback to DFDS Direct team e.g. on feature needs and change management challenges
  • Meet with DFDS Direct team members regularly, e.g. weekly to monthly depending on need, participate in bi-weekly sprint reviews and take part in quarterly workshop, where DFDS Direct team members and all other Digitalisation Coaches share experience and brainstorm
