Most important areas of responsibility:

• Lead analytic approaches, integrating work into applications and tools with data engineers, business leads, analysts and developers
• Collaborate with business partners to develop novel ways to meet objectives utilizing cutting edge techniques and tools
• Effectively communicate the analytics approach and how it will meet and address objectives to business partners
• Advocate and educate on the value of data driven decision making focusing on the "how and why" of solving problems
• Create repeatable, interpretable, dynamic and scalable models that are seamlessly incorporated into analytic data products

 

Qualifications required for the position:

• Bachelor's degree required, MS or PhD preferred in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics or other relevant discipline
• Experience with Machine Learning, Python or R
• Proven ability to merge and transform disparate internal & external data sets together to create new features
• Preferably experience with Big Data technologies and data visualization tools

The position reports to VP Digital Office. The successful candidate could operate from Kristiansand, Oslo or Lyon, and has to be flexible for some international travel.
