We are a now looking for several skilled Data Engineers to join our team working with our growing new area Financial Crime Prevention (FCP).

About the position
Financial Crime prevention, whether it is to combat fraud against our customers, protecting the bank from money laundering or detecting rouge trading, that is central not only to SEB but for the society as such.

As Data Engineer in this area you will work in an environment with multiple Agile teams located in both Stockholm, Vilnius & Riga. Your main responsibilities will be to develop and maintain new technical capabilities in a smart way that allow us to detect bad actors, analyze their behavior and report to authorities on suspicious activity.  

Our technical environment consists but is not limited to Java, Scala, Python, Hadoop, Kafka, NiFi, Spark, Grafana and Elastic Search. Here you will have a chance to make a difference and work with challenging tasks. The positions are located in Stockholm, Arenastaden.

Your profile
To succeed in your role with us you should LOVE solving ENGINEERING problems. In order to be successful you most probably have extensive experience in Java programming language. Having experience with Linux, Scala, Python, Hadoop, Kafka, NiFi, Spark, Grafana or Elastic Search would be considered as an advantage.

We expect you to have an analytical mindset and an ability to solve complex technical problems as well as have a passion for discoveries and challenges that drive your personal development and professional growth. You should enjoy working with new technologies, encourage and drive change and continuous improvement in teamwork, tools and processes you will be using. Being a team player open for growth and learning is thus crucially important for the role.
