Data Analyst Internship

Trading & Origination is Statkraft’s central commercial unit for proprietary trading of standard and origination of non-standard energy related products and assumes the role of a market integrator for third party renewable and flexible assets encompassing the supply of power and green solutions to customers in Europe and in the US

We would like to offer a recent graduate an exceptional opportunity to learn about the commodities markets by undertaking a year long internship internship to assist in our research and analysis.  

 

Your role:

• Setup processes to extract and load more data into our database

• Extend and continue to build out our team’s analysis dashboard

• Manage and monitor our automated tasks

• Analyse and produce models from our data to aid in trading decisions

 

Your Profile:

• Computing, Maths, Electrical Engineering, or similar degree

• Strong programming skills (Our team uses Python as our primary programming language)

• Familiar with SQL databases

• Quick learner with good critical thinking skills

• Superb attention to detail, time management, and ability to multitask

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Interest in learning about trading and financial markets

• No financial/trading knowledge required

• Bilingual Mandarin Chinese and English is an advantage
