Customer Service - Team Lead

As Customer Service Team Lead you will be responsible for providing excellent service to both internal and external customers by directing & coordinating with production, warehouse, distribution and improve accuracy within the department. Examine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet distribution needs. Direct the movement, verifying, processing and monitoring the distribution of orders to ensure that a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained
This position will be based in Dubai and will report to the Finance Manager - Jotun MENA and functionally will report to the Logistics & Customer Service Manager of Jotun UAE.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external customers.
- Monitor, supervise and report the performance of the Customer Service team as well as being an active member of the team and ensure standards are maintained.
- Support reporting manager on all Customer Service related matters by providing timely reports and implementing objectives, policies and strategies for the company.
- Generate reports and statistics that are required for the smooth operations of the function.
- Guide and develop subordinates in carrying out their duties and ensure smooth co-ordination between departments to achieve department goals.
- Co-ordinate & liaison with the Supply Chain and Logistics team of inter-companies to plan and deliver our products and services to our customers in a most effective and efficient manner.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments with Production, Multi Color, Purchasing, Logistics, Finance, Sales etc. for material process and distribution to meet customer requirements
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle and respond promptly to customer inquiries and complaints.
- You hold a Bachelors / Master's Degree
- You have 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in Customer Service
- Acts on own initiative, makes things happen and accepts responsibility for the results
- Uses a methodical and systematic approach; plans ahead, defines clear priorities and allocates resources effectively
- Builds a useful network of contacts and relationships and utilizes it to achieve objectives
- Provides team with a clear sense of direction, inspires and coordinates others and keeps them focused on objectives
- Communicates in a clear, precise and structured way; speaks with authority and conviction; presents effectively
- Co-operates well with others; shares knowledge, experience and information; supports others in the pursuit of team goals
