Customer Operations Support

The role:

-          To work within the Customer Operations team responsible for providing Bryt Energy business customers with a high quality of customer service through telephony or written communications.

-          The role will require the candidate to speak to customers by telephone or by email through the management of a business customer service mailbox and so they should have experience of delivering customer service in either format.

-          The role may also require the candidate to complete a variety of back office activities associated to the customer journey including credit assessments, customer registrations, customer service and a variety of other areas of the business where required.

The ideal candidate:

-          Should have a comprehensive knowledge of the providing customer service working for an energy company, ideally for B2B customers. They should be competent to manage all customer queries with a first contact resolution mindset.

-          Has a passion for the delivery of high-quality customer service throughout the customer journey. Will always seek to put the customer first and will always commit to doing what they say they will do.

-          Experience of providing customer service by telephone in an effective, empathetic and knowledgeable manner. Also, the candidate must have experience of working customer service emails with a high level of accuracy and efficiency, as they will be the first point of contact for any business customer who contacts Bryt Energy.

-          Exceptional communication skills are required, and the candidate must truly have a passion for always delivering first class customer service.

-          They should have an awareness of the Ofgem complaints procedures and be able to ensure that a fully complaint approach to identifying and managing complaints is maintained at all times.

-          A real self-starter with a forward-thinking approach and enthusiastic nature.

-          Enjoys taking ownership and being accountable for their own work. Can self-manage where required and therefore can prioritise work effectively and work to strict deadlines.

-          A team player who can work effectively within their immediate team and across the wider business to deliver results.

-          A satisfactory level of assertiveness to be able to handle difficult customer issues, or back up decisions which they make with conviction.

-          Competent working with spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.

-          Effective time management and organisational skills are essential in this role.

-          Somebody who enjoys problem solving and has strong attention to detail. 

-          A hunger and real desire to achieve, succeed, develop and grow.
