CPQ Developer

An exciting opportunity has arisen as CPQ Developer, reporting to the Global Sales & Marketing division. In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing configure, price, quote (CPQ) solutions to support our sales processes. You will collaborate closely with our sales, marketing, and product teams to understand their needs and translate them into effective CPQ solutions.  

The CPQ - Configure, Price and Quote system is a vital part of Global Sales & Marketing’s and KM’s digital roadmap, and one of the key enablers to succeed in making KM’s global sales force work more efficient generating quotes. We are in the middle of implementing Tacton CPQ (Configure, Price and Quote) and are soon moving into the operational phase.

You will be a part of the Sales Operations Team, serving as a Center of Excellence, directs and supports the Global sales and marketing division in the daily operations, with the objective of streamlining the sales activities.

Key accountabilities

  • Configure and maintain product catalogues, pricing rules, and discounting structures within the CPQ system
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to understand their requirements and translate them into effective CPQ solutions
  • Create business requirement documents, user stories, functional specifications, and system design specifications.
  • Implements high quality code and configuration to meet stated business requirements.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the CPQ system
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues with the CPQ system

 

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience with sales calculations or CPQ tools, preferably in a Tacton environment is an advantage but not a requirement
  • An ability to understand requirements and turn them into creative solutions and explain how to best utilize the CPQ tool
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Good business understanding
