To be a part of the HR & Communication team that has the assignment to work with and communicate our culture and business plan, internal and external. We work together to strengthen our employer and Kappahl brand, and to drive transformation towards our business plan and goals. We focus on making sure that Kappahls purpose, values and business plan influence the whole organization. So that stakeholders and employees understand our journey and get the right conditions to contribute to our success.
You will play a vital role in enabling cross functional movements, that will impact the Kappahl journey. You are reporting to Vice President HR & Communications, in the team we have two corporate communicators.

You will together with colleagues

Work strategically and operative by developing transparent inclusive and joyful communication to enable Kappahl's journey by translating business strategy into organizational storytelling while being hands on in implementation. Planning, preparing communication activities and coordinating communication activities across Kappahl as well as developing the communication strategy.

Areas of responsibility, strategically and operatively

• Culture flag bearer and role model, inspires to Inclusive, Courageous, and Joyful communications – sets the "drumbeat" for the whole organization and is the spokesperson for Kappahl internally and externally
• Corporate communications – full framework, public and media relations, corporate website
• Internal communications – intranet, inclusive co-operation in all 10 countries
• Employer brand communications – social medias, close collaboration with HR
• Crisis communications –close collaboration with the management team and HR

Your profile

We are looking for a creative colleague who can see beyond the obvious delivery and takes an innovative and courageously approach to communication. You have an academic degree in communications, marketing or PR or equivalent experience. Minimum 7 years of experience from communication both internal and external at a global level. You have a strong interest in understanding our business, culture, employer branding and sustainability. You are a strong strategic thinker and a calm problem-solver keen to take strategy into action in a hands-on, non-prestigious manner. You are driven and curious about what's happing in the world so you play your efforts into a wider context.

To be successful in the role you need to have excellent networking and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and influence colleagues across different disciplines, cultures and positions. You have a mix of a strategic, tactical, and operational capability and a mindset open to driving transformation. Your interest and knowledge of how digital solutions can improve your works will be needed in this role.

Your personality

You are communicative and love to clarify sometimes complex information in an easy and joyful way to colleagues and stakeholders. You will need a good analytical ability and a high flexibility to handle and respond to upcoming situations. You thrive best in a developing environment where no day is the same. As a leader you are natural and inclusive and act with integrity and secureness in a multicultural environment with good ability to listen. Further, you have strong collaboration skills are patient, calm and flexible.
